Questions about scope and price
For quotes to be comparable, first clarify what is included. Two quotes with the same price can differ wildly in page count, content entry, revision rights and technical setup.
Seeing the price split into core build and additional services makes the decision easier. For a sample scope comparison, review the packages on our website pricing page.
- 1. How many pages and which features are included in the price?
- 2. How many revisions do I get, and how are extra revisions billed?
- 3. Are domain, hosting and SSL included — and what is the renewal cost?
Questions about timeline and process
The delivery date matters as much as how that date will be reached. Knowing at which stage your content or approval is needed prevents delays caused by your side.
A standard corporate site usually takes a few weeks; multilingual structures, e-commerce or custom modules extend the calendar. To see the steps in detail, read our website building process guide.
- 4. How many weeks until delivery, and will the timeline be shared in writing?
- 5. Who prepares the copy and visuals?
- 6. Will I be able to review the design on phone and desktop before launch?
Questions about ownership and infrastructure
The domain, hosting account and admin panel must be registered to the business or accessible to it. Losing access to your own site when you part ways with an agency is one of the most common and most expensive problems.
Also ask why the chosen infrastructure was selected. WordPress, a ready theme or custom development — the reasoning directly affects maintenance cost and future flexibility.
- 7. In whose name will the domain and admin panel be registered?
- 8. Will I be able to update the site myself, and is training provided?
- 9. Will the site be mobile-friendly and fast — and how do you measure that?
Questions about SEO, measurement and support
For a live site to be found on Google, heading structure, page speed, sitemap and Search Console setup must be planned from the start. Ask explicitly what “SEO-friendly” covers in the quote.
Post-launch support matters as much as the design itself. How updates, backups and small changes are handled — and at what price — should be known upfront. In our web design projects we settle these items at the quote stage.
- 10. Is SEO setup included, and what exactly is done?
- 11. Will conversions such as phone and WhatsApp clicks be measured?
- 12. How do maintenance and support work after launch?
The bottom line
An agency that answers these 12 questions clearly and in writing does not just deliver a site — it leaves you in control of the process, the cost and the ownership of your website.
